What Works – Lessons from 100,000 Lights On Afterschool Celebrations

What Works – Lessons from 100,000 Lights On Afterschool Celebrations - Thursday, September 7th @ 11am

You asked for advice from peers on what to do for Lights On Afterschool events, and in this webinar we deliver. Join us to hear from an afterschool program director and get a walkthrough from the Afterschool Alliance’s own Faith Savaiano of the tips and tricks we’ve gathered from 15 years of Lights On Afterschool celebrations.

Hosting a Lights On Afterschool celebration can seem like a daunting task, but they don’t have to be expensive or difficult to plan to be effective. To help make your job as easy as possible, the Afterschool Alliance has developed a massive suite of free planning resources available through our website.

We will be joined by Afterschool Ambassador Ayana Crichton from the 21st Cranston Community Learning Center, Bain+2, and Kidventure Afterschool programs in Cranston, Rhode Island. Ayana has years of experience planning great Lights On Afterschool celebrations of all shapes and sizes, and we’re extremely excited that she will be joining us to share her tips and tricks for how to plan for success. Register today to get the inside scoop on how to make this year’s Lights On Afterschool the best one yet!

Speakers:

  • Faith Savaiano, Communications Associate, Afterschool Alliance
  • Ayana Crichton, Program Director, 21st Cranston Community Learning Center
