Explora: Creative Coding I
Saturday, December 10 from 10:00am - Noon MT
An in-person workshop on Making and Coding at Explora. Suitable for teachers of grades 3-8, all skill levels welcome.
Make computer science accessible, creative, and fun by bringing the making mindset to student projects. In this series of workshops, you will learn to use simple, common materials with micro:bit microcontrollers in creative ways. The first workshop is an introduction with no previous coding experience required. The second is an intermediate level workshop for those who have taken Creative Coding I or have some experience with micro:bits. Sign up for one or both!
Please contact Explora Reservations with questions - reservations@explora.us
These workshops are provided at no cost because of generous support from the Air Force Research Laboratory.
The New Mexico Out-of-School Time Network (NMOST) brings together policymakers, educators, childcare providers, youth development workers, and other stakeholders interested in ensuring positive youth development opportunities and outcomes through out-of-school time programs.
