Growing a Scientist™ (ages 2 ½ - 5 yrs)
Growing a Scientist™ offers transactive experiences for children ages 2½ through 5 together with their adult companions. Preschoolers and adults pair to learn about science by questioning, experiencing and investigating.

Each session of Growing a Scientist meets every other week and consists of one hour of activities focusing on scientific discovery and incorporating art and literature. Science to Grow On™ (grades K-3rd)
Science to Grow On™ is an opportunity for transactive experiences for children in kindergarten through third grade. In these classes children learn about science by questioning, experiencing and investigating. Participation of parents or adult caregivers is encouraged, but not required.

Each session of Science to GrowOn meets every other week. Class periods are made up of over an hour of activities focusing on inquiries in science and art. Class sessions are offered on Saturdays and Wednesdays. Visit: Website or call 505.224.8341 for more information.

Engineering Investigators (3rd-5th)
Design, Engineer, Build! In each class, Explora educators engage children in activities that use the engineering design process to solve a problem. Whether it’s building a suspension bridge or figuring out what gears are best to use on a bike, children will have fun designing and building, perhaps without even realizing they are honing their problem-solving skills and learning engineering and physics principles! Activities change each semester.

Home School Exploration Series (K-8th grade)
The Home School Exploration Series is a semester of weekly, hour-long experiential science, technology and art programs facilitated by Explora educators. Each program takes an inquiry approach to learning and involves every student in active exploration of physical materials. Our Exploration programs are benchmarked to the standards established for relevant grade levels by the New Mexico Public Education Department.
