Microsoft Philanthropies and Inclusive Computer Science Education

Microsoft Philanthropies and Inclusive Computer Science Education - Tuesday, April 23, 2019 @ Noon

Microsoft Philanthropies has partnered with the National Center for Women and Information Technology (NCWIT), CSForALL, the Computer Science Teachers Association (CSTA), Code.org, the Technology Education and Literacy in Schools(TEALS) program, and others to create a guide that provides educators with context and concrete steps to build and expand inclusivity in computer science (CS) education. By actively engaging with students in CS of all backgrounds and abilities, educators can build an even stronger pipeline of creativity and innovation to help ensure students have the skills needed. This webinar will provide you background on the collaboration, introduce you to the guide and specific takeaways, and allow time and space for questions.
