Rockin' Around New Mexico: An Annual Geologic Workshop for K-12 Teachers

The New Mexico Bureau of Geology Rockin’ Around New Mexico workshop is for K-12 teachers interested in expanding their knowledge of geoscience and geologic hazards and is based out of Socorro, NM. Participants will learn through in-class and field instruction about the relationships between earthquakes, magma bodies, faults and hydrology in determining landscape dynamics and stability in New Mexico.
