NSLA’s free virtual Summer Planning Bootcamp is a live, virtual deep dive for program innovation and student success.

Who Should Attend? Anyone who works with youth during the summer months or cares about summer learning. Leaders from schools, community-based programs, camps, libraries, outdoor education programs, and more.

Welcome and Introduction: State of Summer Learning

Panel 1: Setting the Compass: Current Research and ImpactUnderstanding the current landscape of summer learning.

Panel 2: Learning & Engagement in Summer ProgramsCreating environments full of hands-on experiences where youth can share their voice, build connections with others, and find a deeper meaning in their learning.

Panel 3: Leadership & Staff Development How program leaders can build a sense of belonging, agency, active engagement, and reflection in staff.
