Girls Who Code Upskill Series: Build Your AI Operating System Responsibly
Whether you’re starting a business or launching a career search, learning to set up an AI tooling instance that solves real problems for you is the core skill anyone entering today’s workforce needs to thrive. A “personal operating system” is simply a set of AI tools, set up by you and trained on your own context, that helps you get your real work done. This hands-on virtual session is intermediate-level, but no coding background needed.
Each participant sets up the first piece of their own personal operating system, an AI tool trained on their own goals and context (their job search, their projects, or their business) that solves a real problem they face. They leave with something they built themselves and can keep extending.
How it works (3 sprints on our POP-IT framework):
- Set up your context: Teach the AI who you are and what you’re working on
- Build the core: Create the tool that solves a real problem for you
- Make it yours: Build a simple interface and learn how to keep growing it after the session
By attending this event, participants will gain:
- A working starting point for their own personal OS,
- Plus the mindset and habits to keep building for themselves, in their careers or their own ventures
